Our Story
Yellow Door Development is a family-owned residential development company founded by husband-and-wife team Kari and Nick Giuffre, proudly based in North Wildwood, New Jersey. North Wildwood isn't just where they do business — it's where Nick's grandparents retired to 7th Avenue in 1999, and where he spent many of his childhood summers. That history is a big part of why building here means more to them than any other project on their list.
From Realtors to Builders
As experienced realtors, Kari and Nick spent years helping clients find the right home before deciding to start creating them from the ground up. That firsthand experience taught them what families actually want in a beach house: spaces that are comfortable, functional, and built for making memories — not just square footage. Each Yellow Door home starts with that same idea and is brought to life through close collaboration with Vallese Builders and a trusted group of local architects and interior designers, with Kari and Nick personally involved in every detail.
Why "Yellow Door"
The name comes from what the color represents — joy, warmth, a house that smiles at you the moment you walk up. That's the standard for every home they build: inviting, effortless, made for years of memories at the shore.
